CASTILE AND LEON EXHIBITION AND CONFERENCE CENTRE

Since 2000, TRAP, S.A., via EXPACONTRA, S.A., temporarily associated with VIAJES MARSANS and VIAJES Y CONGRESOS, S.A., operates the Salamanca Exhibition and Conference Centre.

With a total capacity of 2,200 people, the building features the following facilities: Main Hall, Secondary Hall, Open-air Grandstand, Training Hall, Authorities Area, Videoconference Hall and Exhibition Area.

VIGO CONFERENCE CENTRE

The Auditorium Conference Centre design relates to the densely populated city of Vigo with the aim of filling the gap in the market for business meetings in the South of Galicia and North of Portugal. Located in the emerging Avenida de Beiramar, the complex designed by the architect César Portela will feature four halls, a hotel, a leisure and commerce area and parking, amongst other areas. At present, the company created to this effect, Pazo de Congresos de Vigo, S.A., is in the process of demolishing the old “Casa Mar” to subsequently undertake the construction work, which it is planned will be completed in a couple of years.
The twelve thousand square-metre plot of land will house a building that aims to promote tourism and culture in the most industrial and dynamic city of Galicia, and in this manner fulfil the requirement for this type of venue that has been in demand for many years. With new airline routes, land routes and the support of all of the city’s businesses, this Centre is already guaranteed to be a success.
